You say Caucus, I say Another Martini Please

Obama wins in Iowa. Does anyone need any more proof that Oprah is the most powerful woman in America?

Huckabee - the man who wrote "homosexual activism has fragmented and polarized our communities" and described said gay activists as "fanatically twisted fringes of American culture" in his 1998 book (okay, I've been called worse) - also won.

Iowa also showed that a large majority of the Evangelicals and Born Agains can come out to vote. What will it take to get all the gays to vote?

What will it take for anyone to vote?

My sincerest wish for 2008 is for all the media magnets - those people all over the papers, news, magazines and television (Paris, Lindsay, Britney, Posh) - to find a way to the conventions. Could you maybe misbehave around the candidates over the next few months? Please. Fall off the wagon at a Hillary speech, or in the parking lot at Huckabee's headquarters. Show your cooch on Edward's campaign plane. Anything to bring attention to this political race so people can actually learn - even if it's by proxy - about that which will matter the most for this country.

FYI, this is where IOWA is on the map:

Come on all you media magnets do your bit and help out so people of all sexual agendars can also have equal right's. What some people say and do is no diffrent to when the world was full of racism and we inslaved black people, so now is the time to break the barrier of sexual racism.
p.s go get them JD

We will not realize any changes until we all get out and VOTE! We must work to put people in office who support equality for ALL people.

2 things.

1. Let's not forget Huckabee is also the man who reiterated his stance from the 80s that people living with HIV and AIDS should be quarantined. Yes. Concentration camps is what he proposes and people, lots of people think he should be president!

2. It's not just enough to vote, we must get everyone in our lives to vote. The balance of our LGBT rights lay in the balance, not to mention the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS, however unlikely he could ever get his way on that issue

DevoPro you are right on both counts. I didn't even want to mention the "quarantine". That's what we need as President, a man who just sends everyone off to a camp.
